Advanced reference

I was supposed to teach reference intro in the fall semester, but at the last minute I am reassigned to teach advanced reference. Although starting over on course prep is a bit of a headache, I'm actually glad that I get to teach reference at the advanced level. It means more flexibility in choosing what you want to cover in the course. I'll definitely have a component of how current technology has impacted reference work, e.g., how the Web 2.0 sites have been adopted in delivering reference services, and how reference librarians are thriving in the world of MMUV. Well, it's going to be a lot of fun, I think.
